The surprise of LG’s new high-end mobile does not come so much in the pure photographic field, but in that of sound and its new biometric system: these are the strengths of the LG G8 ThinQ.

The manufacturer has opted for an interesting triple camera system on its back, but what stands out most about the mobile is the technology that turns its screen into a speaker and, of course, that Time of Flight camera that now not only recognizes your face but also the palm of your hand.

The terminal is governed by the Snapdragon 855, which becomes a clear reference in the high range, and in addition to its 6 GB of RAM, it is accompanied by 12 8 GB of expandable capacity via Micro SD.

There is a significant battery increase with those 500 mAh more (the thickness also grows, but the sacrifice is welcome), and although we have Quick Charge 3.0 support, there is no support for wireless charging.

There are also notable changes to the cameras, from three (2 rear, 1 front) in last year’s model to five (3 rear, 2 front) in this year’s model.

Although we miss the fingerprint sensor under the screen that other manufacturers have introduced, the new biometric recognition methods are very interesting alternatives, and they also return outstanding features such as IP68 certification.
